Elizabeth Rumbol, an 87-year-old lady living in a care home in Kent, was confined to her room due to unavailable seating. The home had a Lento care chair, but this was only available to her once every three weeks to get her out of her room.
Being unable to get around the care home and meet the other residents and staff was making her very lonely, she was stuck in her room all the time and it was 4 years since she had even been outside!
This was having a severe impact on her mental health and wellbeing. When her daughter saw the Lento chair in the care home, she knew this was what her Mum needed to get her quality of life back.
Elizabeth’s daughter asked the care home who they would recommend as a seating supplier for her Mum, and Vivid.Care were top out of three companies recommended.

As well as massively improving her mood and wellbeing, her posture has improved too as she is now able to raise her legs with the articulating legrest. Her physical health has improved to the extent they are now considering a bath hoist, so she can enjoy having a bath again!
