2018 has thrown a lot of financial uncertainties into the mix for businesses like ours. But despite the difficult economic climate, we’re delighted to have had our most profitable year to date!
We’ve seen other mobility companies go under this year and even some of our suppliers; however, we’ve not only managed to stay on top of things in the industry, but we’ve also actually increased our profitability seven-fold.
It’s been a year of firsts for us here at Vivid Care. Not only have we written and released a free seating eBook, but we’ve also branched into bathroom adaptations, and updated our very own care chair — the Lento.
We also expanded our exclusive Raizer dealership area earlier this year, so we can now supply from the northernmost tip of Scotland, right down to the depths of Warwickshire. These new developments have helped us to stay on top of the care and mobility market.
Dave was hired as a sales assistant for our company back in 2010, but he has since risen to be our showroom manager. He said:
“This year has been incredibly busy for us despite cuts in NHS funding and other financial factors. We’ve seen many other mobility shops and even some of our suppliers go bust recently, so it’s important that we continue to deliver first class customer service and stay on top of new product developments and other things that will help business.”
We’ll actually be hiring new staff in 2019 to keep up with demand and make sure that we’re delivering the right products and excellent customer service at every opportunity. We’re also looking at creating more Vivid Care products like the Lento to make sure that we’re providing the best solution wherever possible.
Our company was first established in 1972 with the mission to enhance quality of life, a mission we still live and work by to this day. Now we’re on the cusp of our 47th year in business, it’s more important than ever that we make sure that we are giving our customers the best quality of life available to them.
Our managing director Tristan said:
“With Brexit on the horizon and other economic uncertainties, it’s understandable for any SMEs to face hardships.
“You have to think more strategically, and by increasing our Raizer dealership area, launching the Lento chair, and by offering home adaptations, Vivid Care has managed to cement its place as a leading supplier in the care and mobility market. Well done to all of our hard-working team for making 2018 one of our best years ever!”
The whole Vivid Care team would like to say thank you to everyone we have worked with over the past 12 months; we look forward to working with you again in 2019!
