Single-handed care is one the most prevalent topics in healthcare at the moment, and it gets a very mixed response. Deborah Harrison has conducted a lot research into this divisive subject and drawn her own conclusions. With predictions indicating that we will need an additional 1 million carers by 2025, Deborah put forward a very convincing argument for the use of single-handed care that shows how much money can be saved, and how higher quality care can be delivered. This speech took place at YORTRAIN GOLD 2017.
