The younger sibling of the Permobil range, designed for use in urban areas and indoor spaces, the F3 is a compact front-wheel drive electric wheelchair offering new levels of manoeuvrability in and out of tight spaces (it has a minimum turning radius of 67.31cm). Whether you spend a lot of time out and about on city streets, or need to move quickly between people and objects in crowded shopping centres or compact homes/apartments, the F3 will enable you unmatched agility. You can even rest in the fact that you can go out after dark, as the optional LED lights on the front and back of the wheelchair bring the visibility you need to stay safe.
The platform has a lower, repositioned centre of gravity, which greatly improves stability when driving up and down ramps or slopes, and the seating features and suspension bring that exceptionally comfortable riding experience.
The included Permobil VoltPro charger and Permobil battery provides 25% more capacity and improves battery lifespan by 50%.
ActiveReach – This function tilts the seat of the powerchair forward by up to 30°, and raises it to extend functional reach, aid in transfers, and assist in your daily activities.
Permobil’s ActiveHeight powered seat lift provides full suspension at any seat height, while the ActiveReach system combines seat height with seat tilt, allowing the individual using the powerchair to reach further and higher. This can make simple activities in daily life, such as reaching for something on a shelf, that much easier.
The Permobil Corpus seating system includes an ergonomic design that follows the contours of the user’s body. Improved comfort, pelvic positioning, lateral stability and immersion are all provided by the new Corpus cushions included on the Permobil F3 Corpus Electric Wheelchair.
Buying a Permobil wheelchair is a process involving finding a customised solution that meets your individual postural seating; pressure care; and social requirements to truly enhance your life! Our Vivid Care assessors and Permobil experts, with decades of experience, will visit you at your place of residence (or you can visit us in our showroom), for a detailed assessment – after taking a few key measurements and asking you some questions, we will work on creating a bespoke powerchair to meet your care needs and enable more independence.
